Ramadan and Eid Events 2025

  • Join us at Your Space Collective on Sunday, March 16th from 3-5PM for Storytime (ages 3-12). All ages welcome.

  • We are providing Halal meat and household items to Refugees in need on March 23.

    There are several ways to get involved. Sign up

  • Join the Rooted Ummah Book club every Wednesday (virtual and in person). Books purchased through local Muslim owned bookstore, Your Space Collective.

  • Sisters are welcome to join us on Thursday, March 20th at Tybee Beach for a community iftar.

  • Refreshments provided the last 10 nights of Ramadan at the ICS.

  • March 29 iftar at Islamic Center of Savannah. No sign up necessary/ Open to the community.

  • Family photos will be taken right after Eid prayer. We will set up the backdrop and you snap the photo on your personal device!

Refugee Ramadan Food & Household Giveaway

Zakat Eligible Donation

If you are seeking to make a Zakat el fitr donation, a mandatory donation for Muslims before Eid, please donate here. Your donation will only go to those that meet the Islamic criteria for zakat.

Funds will be used to purchase basic necessities, rent assistance, halal meat and nutritious food and more!

RU Day Center Donation

Every Monday for the last 5 months, the Rooted Ummah Day Center provides hot showers, hearty meals, and community resources to underserved community members such as the homeless, immigrants, domestic violence victims and anyone else in need- completely free- thanks to your generosity.

General Donations
